About us

Tiger Lily Cafe was opened in 2024 by local St. Charles residents Ariana Mayo and Joe Nelson.

In 2013, we bought a house in St. Charles where we married and eventually started a family, but we dreamt of owning a local business on Main Street whenever we drove in and out of town. In 2024, we were able to make our dream a reality and are proud to be business owners in a close-knit but growing town.

Tiger Lily Cafe’s coffee beans are sourced from Winterset-based Pammel Park Coffee Co. We also sell local goods including mead from Haynes Homestead, and serve wine from Madison County Winery and beer from local breweries including Exile, Confluence, and NoCoast.
